Boys Freshman Basketball vs. Buhl High School

Wolverines Win: 50 - 37
Yesterday we played Buhl at home and got the win. At the beginning of the season we lost to them in a close game so it was extra nice getting the win. We had an explosive 1st quarter putting 21 points on the scoreboard to Buhl's 8 points. At times Buhl got us nervous as they chipped away at the lead but our boys played well in the second half and took the win 50 - 37.

Wolverines Win: 43 - 42
Last Wednesday we were home against Century and had a very exciting game. We started off very well but became too ambitious and started turning the ball over and taking questionable shots. We were down 10 at the half and then down 9 after the 3rd quarter. The 4th went our way however as we started working together as a team and finding the open man. With 2:30 left and down by 8 we put a press on and made Century turn the ball over time and time again. We took the lead with about 1 minute left. Wolverines Lose: 36 - 50
Second game was at Canyon Ridge where we played very similar to our first game. We lead in the 2nd quarter. Down by 5 at the half. We played poor in the 3rd allowing Canyon Ridge a comfortable lead with too much distance to catch up in the 4th quarter. Final score was 36 to 50.

Wolverines Lose: 30 - 43
Our first game was in Kimberly and after leading in the 2nd quarter went down by a couple baskets at halftime. We came out flat after half and struggled on both ends of the floor allowing Kimberly a significant lead. Fourth quarter was better but the hole was too deep for us to climb out of and lost 30 to 43
